2005 John Stone / Lee Carter - MG Metro 6R4

2005 was an epic battle between between the Metros of John Price and John Stone swapping seconds throughout each of the 10 stages. The fight for victory came down to the very last stage with Price holding a slender lead over Stone. An absolutley storming run trhough the final 4 mile long stage saw Stone come from behind and win the 2005 rally by 3 seconds.
 
2007 Chris Davis / Brandon Parker - Darrian T90
Chris Davis & Brandon Parker returned to New Brighton after their 2006 success and despite the threat of 3 other previous rally winners they managed to secure a second successive rally win. Their main opposition came from early joint leader Mike Oates, but when he went out with a puncture they were able to cruise to victory.

 
 

 
2006 Chris Davis / Brandon Parker - Darrian T90
After suffering a big accident at another rally in 2005, Chris Davis and Brandon Parker returned in 2006 having re-built their car from scratch. The Printmatters Promenade Stages was their first event after the previous season's accident and a host of improvements helped them to a comfortable and well deserved victory.
